Q: Do you provide the alcohol?
A: No. We (MMB) legally cannot provide/sell alcohol under Montana liquor licensing laws. That’s why we recommend you purchase the alcohol, and hire, MMB to provide everything else your event. If you are looking for a cash bar, let us know and we will try to make recommendations for you on who could do it.
Q: Where are you based out of and how far will you travel?
A: We are based out of our ranch in East Helena, MT. We will travel within a few hour radius, however, give us a shout if you are further out than that. We do have to charge $1.5/mile travel/delivery fee.
Q: Do you carry insurance? What kind of permits will I need for my event?
A: Yes, we carry general liability insurance with liquor liability for our servers. One thing we feel strong about is that you consider purchasing ‘event insurance’ for your event. This protects you and your location. We would ask that you add us to that policy for everyone’s protection. Typically, these short-term policies are relatively inexpensive. $200-300, as well as liquor liability insurance. We can provide copies of our insurance policies to your venue upon request.
For any permits that may be needed it is the clients responsibility to secure those. Generally, if your event is held on private property you will not need to secure any permits. If you have any questions, please email us!
Q: What are the dimensions of the trailer?
A: The Cross-Eyed Cowboy is approximately 8.5 feet wide, 9 feet tall, and 15 feet long. The Branding Iron is 8 feet wide, 8 feet tall, and 12 feet long
Q: What deposit is required?
A: We require a 50% deposit upon booking. The remaining balance at the conclusion of the event. Bookings canceled within 90 days of the event are not eligible for a refund of your deposit unless the MMB secures another event for your date. In the event of inclement weather we will do our best to accommodate if you wish to reschedule. The client is responsible for any outdoor tents if necessary. MMB does not provide any tents or other gear in the event of rain. If you decide to add on additional items to your package or reservation after you made a deposit, no worries, just contact us! If there is something else that may cause a cancelation less than 30 days, we’ll talk!!

Q: Are the MMB’s Covid-19 compliant?
A: We tried to mask the bar, but just haven’t had luck!!! However, each bar will be cleaned and disinfected after each use. You may want to add hand sanitizer/wipes, and what-ever else makes you feel comfortable for you and your guests.
Q: How much will it cost for me to rent a bar?
A: Since we provide everything except the alcohol, and prices have increased considerably over the course of a year, we can only estimate a price versus quoting a price. Meaning, it could vary a little from when first estimated. So if you request an estimate here, we will contact you as soon as we can!
